Many people think that university and college has the same meaning. But they are totally wrong. The fact is a university is a place to educate people with many various courses to choose. On the other hand, a college only has not more than 10 courses. Though the fees are widely different, the quality speaks the same. It also depends on the students. If they are the hard worker type, they will probably choose university rather than college. Research also found that there are more universities in United States than colleges.
What so extraordinary about college? College may offer few courses. Mainly the courses are Accounting, Finance, Business Commerce, Hospitality, Management, Taxation and Technologies Development. These college courses have the same quality with universities courses. The courses can be applied through online known as online college courses. Directly or online applied are just the same. One of the advantages is students can be more focus on their concern subjects rather than on extracurricular courses that usually universities claim to be compulsory subjects. Other advantages are students can get side jobs besides studying. Usually colleges have short time of study; approximately 4 hours. Differ with universities that study half-day even full-day.
Similar to universities, colleges also offer scholarships for former students and international students. Range from undergraduate students to postgraduate students. Colleges offer the scholarships under considerations too, such as to help the financial aids, tuition grants cooperate with governments and attract more students to study there. Considering the cost to attend college is quite expensive. The cost depends on what courses you take; popular subjects are more expensive than the unpopular ones. Through achieving college scholarships, besides make parents proud of you, parents will save money on education; parents can spend the money on other things.
Hence, by taking direct or online college courses, students have the opportunity to get scholarships and make their parents proud of them. The goal is to lead students through desperate future to the bright future.
Teens Problems

Teen’s pregnancy has been major issue since the millennium year. Mainly because nowadays youth are so free in managing their lives until choosing who to be friends, boyfriends and girlfriends. One of them is being young mother. The temptation to have free sex in young age is so big. Many young girls’ teenagers are inspected to be young mother. From family perspective, having a baby in such a young age is turmoil and decrease dignity among neighbors. Being a mother in young age also give the teens a new challenge and long term stress. The solution for this problem is attending schools for pregnant teens. To apply for the schools, the agreement must approved by the teenager’s parents and the teenager herself. The schools offer parenting programs and support the pregnant teenager to always think optimist.
Other common problem that always be nightmare for every parents, it is troubled children. It is more acceptable for boy to be stubborn, but it is not appropriate for a girl to get into big trouble. Parents will have headache. Parents only solution is troubled girls schools. By entering your troubled kids to the schools, they will be taught how to have a good manner, learn how to control the emotion and maybe a mental treatment for stress teens. Hopefully, by these useful trainings, the troubled girl will transform to a good manner girl.
The last common problem for teen’s girls is eating disorder. Today teenagers always dream about having thin and sexy body. This kind of eating behavior will lead to diseases, such as Bulimia and Anorexia. Bulimia and Anorexia is kind of similar. The victim looks so thin, like bones covered with skin not the muscles. Parents should really concern about their kids condition. By putting them into treatment for eating disorders with trusted doctor control, the teens maybe change their eating behavior to normal meals.
Hence, average teen’s girls have many problems, such as teen’s pregnancy, troubled teens and teen’s eating disorder. Every problem have the solutions.
Military Members Only Get One Chance At Free College Credit

The DANTES program of the US Department of Defense has helped thousands of military members further their higher education. One method that the DANTES program has promoted is the College-Level Examination Program, or CLEP. CLEP is a rising favorite for students looking for the most efficient way to earn credit. The CLEP program works by awarding college credit to students who can demonstrate college level knowledge in a certain subject. Most students are attracted to CLEP because it saves them a lot of time and money. It really works to save money for military members, however, because the DANTES program has footed the bill for CLEP for all military members.
Recently the DANTES program announced a new policy for its funding of CLEP exams for military members. Now, instead of funding unlimited attempts at the CLEP, DANTES is only funding military members’ first attempt at taking the CLEP.
This news has created a bit of a stir in the military community. Many military members have reacted negatively, because DANTES statistics show that many CLEP exams have an overall pass rate for military members of 50% or less. However, these statistics are primarily due to military members underestimating these CLEP tests, and not taking them seriously enough.
Now that military members have only one chance at this free CLEP credit, the need for effective study materials is increasing. The meaning of ‘Online’ in the site means you can put all the information you have read directly to the college through your computer or laptop step by step.
